LOST CHILDREN - Coping with miscarriage for Latter-day Saints

Whether it happens to you or someone you love, there's no way to prepare for the overwhelming sense of loss that accompanies a miscarriage. But as Latter-day Saints, we know that Heavenly Father's plan offers solace, even in the face of adversity. Lost Children provides specific information about miscarriage and how it affects a person physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Rachelle J. Christensen draws on her own experiences with miscarriage and infertility to bring you a comforting guide that's perfect for anyone who's had to struggle through this trial. Strengthen your testimony of the eternal plan as you learn to find happiness in spite of trials and joy in spite of pain.

Rachelle was born and raised in a small farming town in Idaho. Her creativity developed easily in this rural area since she spent many years working in the fields with only a few weeds to distract her daydreaming. She graduated cum laude from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in music. She also enjoys singing and songwriting, playing the piano, running, motivational speaking, and - of course - reading.

Rachelle has created a special musical fireside based on Lost Children; you can visit her website, www.rachellechristensen.com, for information on how to schedule a presentation. You can also visit Rachelle at her blog; www.rachellewrites.blogspot.com.

I read through part of Lost Children, and Rachelle has written her experiences of miscarriage and infertility down so well - my heart was aching for her as I read her story. She has also included a lot of good information in the book, such as, giving clear definitions of common terms associated with miscarriage. I feel that this book is a great source of someone sharing their personal experience and it offers hope and inspiration  to anyone who is going through these trials.
