I found the cutest idea for disciplining your kids. (Well, not sure any type of disciplining is fun or cute....) But if you have to do it, do it the right way. Here is what I found:
This is a discipline board. You put your kids names on the clothes pins and move them up or down depending on their behavior. I found the picture above at A Girl and a Glue Gun, and she found the idea at Trendy Treehouse.
This reminds me of when I was in Elementary School. They used to have all of our names on pockets and we would get a green card if we were good, a yellow card if we had a warning, and a red card if we were bad. We would have to call our parents if we got a red card. I kind of think doing something like this- which is visual- is a good idea. I am a visual person for sure and this tells them when they need to shape up without you even having to get mad at them. All you have to do is go over to it, move the clothespin up or down, and not say a word. That might make them act better!
What do you think? Do you do timeouts? How do you discipline? Do you ground your kids?
